In the infamous, but paraphrased, words of 'Mommie Dearest' (aka Joan Crawford) - wire hangers should not be the hanger of choice for your fine garments. I'm sure you've noticed that we use tissue to build up the hanger so that your clothes are never a victim of 'hanger marks', collars are supported, and the item drapes properly while hanging. However, once our packaging is removed, your garments are no longer afforded its protection. To help you in your quest for fewer closet wrinkles, sagging shoulders and creased collars, here is our guide to hanger selection and use. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. ![]()
The All Purpose Hanger is ideal for a standard suit or mix and match separates. It is a space saver and a popular choice, but provides limited support for the collar area. The Deluxe Shaped hanger with its gently rounded corners, extended length and collar support is the ideal hanger to use to maintain the shape and drape of 'important' suit jackets, blazers and sport coats. The Notched hanger is designed to accommodate those items which are either susceptible to clip marks or over the bar creases. They are also recommended for items too delicate to be solely supported by the shoulder straps on the garments, in these cases the manufacturer will provide hanging loops to ease the strain. Padded hangers are perfect for fine items - silk tops, lingerie, etc. Last but not least is the Hooked hanger, ideal for storing belts, sashes and when used in conjunction with smooth rings, scarves. | Keep Whites, White! | Storing Winter Clothes | Leather Care | Buying Winter Coat | Best Hangers | Label Information | Facts about Goose Down | Moth Damage | Cashmere | Layering For Cold Weather | | Return Home | Our Services | FAQ Page | Contact Us | How Do I? | |
